Project Name: Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Z Morh Tunnel including approaches on National Highway No 1 (Srinagar Sonmarg – Gumri Road) in the state of J&K on Design Build Finance Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) Annuity Basis-6.5 km long tunnel with parallel escape tunnel and a Mid-Adit.
Project Description:
• 1.4 Mill cum of UG excavation.
• 6.5 km long main tunnel (Excavated Cross section: 140 sq.m.).
• 6.5 km long escape tunnel (Excavated Cross section: 50 sq.m.).
• 25 Cross passages.
• 0.74 km long Adit & a safe cavern in middle.
• Reinforced /unreinforced Concrete for Final Lining.
• Andesite, Phyllite etc.
• Existence of several fault zones.
• High Altitude Tunnel.
Construction Cost: INR. 3060 Cr.
