Project Name: Construction, Operation and maintenance of 2-Lane Bi – Directional Zojila Tunnel with Parallel escape (Egress ) Tunnel excluding approaches on Srinagar-Leh Section connecting NH-1 at Km 95.00 and Km 118.00 in the State of Jammu & Kashmir on EPC mode.
Project Description:
• 14.2 km long two lanes bi – directional single tunnel
• 14.3 km long egress tunnel
• Reinforced/unreinforced concrete for final lining.
• Shafts-
Shaft 1 ~ 484 m
Shaft 2 ~ 365 m
Shaft 3 ~ 208 m.
• Andesite, Phyllite etc.
• Existence of several fault zones.
• High Altitude Tunnel.
Construction Cost: INR. 6500 Cr.
